After 35 years of careful selection and strict breeding standards the Wajatryn brand has achieved consistent success in both Stud and commercial arenas. Our Sales Highlights and Past Advertisements pages on this website list a few of our achievements. We sell most of our cattle direct from our properties here in the Central Burnett. Offering value for money in a quality animal. Selected at the buyers leisure on property.
We have consistently been in the Top Selling Vendors at the Droughtmaster National Sale. We have also purchased some of the top bulls. Including Top Priced bull at the 2018 DN Sale. $55,000 Minlacowie Vinnie. And record breaking top Priced bull at the Highlands sale $38,000 Redskin Harley.
The first females our stud purchased were Elginvale heifers in the Late 1980's. They were such impressive females, we were sure Droughtmasters were the way to go.
In 2004 our stud selected and purchased 60 Fairhaven weaner heifers. These have grown out and produced beautifully. At the time, having long admired the Fairhaven cattle we were enormously thankful at the opportunity to acquire such a quality draft of females. They have proved a wonderful boost to our stud business. The Fairhaven females are packed full of the best genetics in the breed, Wingfield, Billabong, Minlacowie, Clonara, Greenacres, Swan.
Over the years we have bought some great bulls and introduced a wide range of the Droughtmaster breeds bloodlines .. and we always look forward to adding more whether it be through Sires purchased or semen purchased from other breeders or straws retained from our highest performing Sires. We still do an Annual AI Program using from 50 - 100 heifers each year.

To the maximum permitted by law, Wajatryn excludes all liability to any person arising directly or indirectly from the purchase of Cattle from it.
No promise, representation, warranty or undertaking has been made or given by Wajatryn in relation to the profitability of, or any other consequences or benefits to be obtained from, the delivery or use of or reliance upon the results of the use of the Cattle or as to their merchantability or their fitness for any purpose.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wajatryn excludes all liability for loss or damage suffered by you, (including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, loss of profits or revenue, business interruption or failure to realise anticipated savings or benefits or business opportunities) that you may suffer as a result of your use or reliance on any information provided on the Cattle or purchase of the Cattle.
Wajatryn’s exclusion of liability applies whether the claim is in contract, tort (including without limitation, negligence) or equity and even if Wajatryn has been notified of the possibility of such loss or damage.
The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) may confer rights, guarantees and remedies on you in relation to the provision by Wajatryn of goods and services, which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Wajatryn does not exclude those rights. All other terms and guarantees and remedies are excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wajatryn’s liability for breach of any consumer guarantee, which cannot be excluded, is limited at the option of Wajatryn to:
a. in the case of services supplied or offered by Wajatryn, which are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption, resupplying or paying the cost of resupplying the service; or
b. in the case of Cattle supplied or offered by Wajatryn, which are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption, replacing, supplying equivalent or paying the cost of replacing or supplying equivalent Cattle.
