Wajatryn Pastoral Company markets Droughtmaster bulls and females across Australia. Owned and operated by Warren & Carolyn Kenny, both 4th generation cattle producers.
We purchased our first Droughtmasters and founded our Stud over two decades ago.
The Droughtmaster breeds versatility has been the key to our success. We operate four properties in the Central Burnett area of Queensland. Running 150 Registered Stud Droughtmaster Females and larger Commercial Breeder Herds plus Fattening Business.

Wajatryn Droughtmaster Stud - Breeds 'Bulls for the Beef Producer'. Bulls that will walk and work. Correct structure and industry relevant traits. All Bulls are semen tested and vet checked according to buyers requirements.

As beef cattle breeders ourselves we are keenly aware of our clients requirements. We aim to provide "More Bang for Your Buck" The bulk of our bulls are sold in the paddock as rising 2year olds. Select Wajatryn Stud Bulls are marketed at Rockhampton, annual National Droughtmaster Sales Also as 2year olds.

Our Females have proven their worth over repeated dry seasons. A Wajatryn female must exhibit, Fertility Plus, Good Temperament and Excellent Mothering Ability. Progeny are assessed and females retained must meet our strict breeding standards. We say our droughtmaster breeders, stud and commercial "Work for Us" Quality breeders are the cornerstone of our business.

Calves equal cash. Comprehensive performance records are maintained on each individually identified animal within our herd. Herd Selection is based on Visual Appraisal, Temperament & Genetic History, to ensure Maximum Productivity for ourselves and our clients.
